2026 Short Form - Social & Marketing Intern

Location: Burbank, California. Start: June 2026. Type: Part‑time (2 days per week). Salary: $17.50 per hour. Mythical is currently seeking an intern to assist the social media & marketing department. Throughout the course of this program, interns will be involved in multiple facets of Mythical Entertainment, with a focus on social media marketing. Interns will gain hands‑on experience while working closely with our cross‑disciplinary Social Media & Marketing Content Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in social media and marketing and be pursuing (or recently graduated with) an undergraduate degree in a related field. This is a paid internship and will take place in our studio 2 days a week for twelve (12) weeks. Responsibilities Work with our social media and marketing team with various creative development tasks: Research relevant marketing and social industry news to craft a weekly roundup Conduct research on featured Good Mythical Morning & Mythical Kitchen guests Assist with social media captioning, community management copy needs, promotional and email copywriting Assist with light design tasks (resizing photos, GIF creation) Monitor Mythical and competitor socials to identify community management opportunities, relevant trends and short‑form content moments Pitch social media content ideas in line with timely trends and relevant cultural conversations Shadow team for brainstorm/ production/ operational meetings, short‑form video creation process and CRM meetings and building process Assist our social media and marketing team with various organizational tasks: Document upkeep (Social Content Calendar, Promo Best Practices, Social Best Practices) Creating Marketing Plan templates for various needs/campaigns Assist with Monday.com input needs for marketing/social Assist with Mythical Society website updates Requirements Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university Rising Junior and above Strong interest in Social Media, Marketing or related creative field Some experience in Google Suite Excellent written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills What You’ll Walk Away With Hands‑on experience in creating and executing a marketing plan How to create and upkeep a social content calendar Ability to craft marketing & social copy to align with different voices and campaigns and how to speak and appeal to targeted audiences Ability to identify premium short‑form content moments How to develop a CRM calendar and create email & SMS campaigns How to effectively write and research for marketing & social campaigns Working cross‑functionally with other teams to deliver multiple projects while maintaining organization and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
