Instructional Systems Design Lead

The role of Instructional Systems Design Lead contributes to HighPoint by designing and leading training and development initiatives while providing expert technical and managerial leadership, overseeing project planning, client engagement, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
Leads ISD activities for CMS ISTP/QSEP‑hosted training programs.
Oversees IACET CEU package development and renewals.
Ensures all instructional products meet Section 508 and CMS style requirements.
May analyze training needs.
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
May supervise others.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Experience using rapid authoring tools for eLearning development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with sound presentation and facilitation skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
12+ years of experience in training/facilitation or instructional design.
