
Personal Lines Support Specialist

WalkerHughes Insurance is seeking a Personal Lines Support Specialist to provide high-quality service to clients while supporting Personal Lines Account Managers. This role focuses on handling customer requests, processing policy changes, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Support
Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Assist customers with policy servicing needs, including endorsements, billing, and claims support
Answer incoming calls and route inquiries to appropriate team members when needed
Policy Processing & Administration
Prepare and process policies, renewals, endorsements, applications, and related documentation
Maintain accurate client records and follow-up activities within agency systems
Review and complete follow-up tasks to ensure requests are resolved efficiently and accurately
Team & Operational Support
Support Personal Lines Account Managers with assigned tasks and service needs
Ensure compliance with company procedures to reduce errors and omissions
Assist with additional administrative or operational duties as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required
2+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience preferred
Strong understanding of personal lines coverage and industry practices
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and agency systems
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
