Commercial Loan Documentation Preparation Specialist
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Commercial Loan Documentation Preparation Specialist. Responsibilities
Prepare commercial loan documentation with an emphasis on operational excellence. Perform document review to ensure accuracy and completeness of all transactions by conducting a self-review of work completed to ensure accuracy of loan package. Obtain and review all pertinent information required to document loans for delivery to lender prior to the requested time. Proactively identify issues that could potentially delay or prevent closings, notify the appropriate parties and work to resolve issues efficiently. Review LaserPro and attorney prepared documents prior to booking and funding to ensure loan stipulations on the Loan Approval and Credit Memorandum are met. Maintain knowledge of all aspects of commercial loan documentation, understanding legal entities and loan documents such as Notes, Security Instruments, Loan Agreements etc. Work independently and prioritize a high volume of work. Review loan risks and competing security interests by examining UCC records. Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements. Maintain knowledge of current loan policies. Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of banking experience with a minimum of 4 years in a commercial lending environment. Prior experience in creating commercial loan documentation with the use of LaserPro strongly preferred. Detail oriented to ensure accuracy of each loan. Personal understanding of entity documents for all types of borrowing entities. Previous experience with regulatory compliance items for both consumer and commercial loans. Thorough understanding of complex loan and security documentation, including the requirements of all types of lien perfection. Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast‑paced environment. Perform assigned tasks within the established Service Levels. Maintain personal performance within the established thresholds. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with peers, co‑workers and other bank employees, building trust and mutual respect. Working Conditions
The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.
