Position Summary

Create and maintain Inventor 3D models or AutoCAD 2D layouts to develop installation drawings that are accurate, usable, customer specification and regulatory compliant. Provide design support to Project Engineers for large projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Layout and design mechanical systems for assigned projects.
Prepare drawings for submittal to the customer.
Develop an understanding of customer specifications and standards under Project Engineer guidance.
Plan for constructability and installation of designs.
Size and select components for mechanical systems under Project Engineer guidance.
Collaborate with others as a CAD and design resource.
Be well organized, resourceful, and planful.
Layout tasks in sufficient detail.
Work on multiple tasks at once without losing track.
Adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications / Requirements

AAS Degree in design/drafting or related field required; Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Technology preferred.
Highly proficient with Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
Experience creating 2D and 3D drawings and models in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.

Work Environment
