Job Description The Senior Video Producer will oversee all aspects of video and photography production for professional events and digital content creation. The role involves on‑site support for events, virtual recording, editing, and creation of multimedia assets.
Provide expert‑level on‑site support for daily photography and videography for an average of seven events per week.
Provide virtual recording and editing support for direct‑to‑camera filming and remote interviews as needed.
Edit professional photo and video content, ensuring same‑day or next‑day turnaround for online platforms and social media.
Design custom videos and craft educational stories and messaging through events, promo videos, social media, animated gifs, documentaries, and direct addresses.
Create “Working with PASC” Video Process Guides and Tips, and a Photography Best Practices training module, including virtual and in‑person training.
Outline, script, and produce video packages for the Digital Director; interview subjects ranging from students to high‑profile officials and celebrities.
Ensure videos are captioned and 508 compliant.
Maintain positive and measurable customer experience (CX) when working with stakeholders.
Stay abreast of foreign policy issues and current events.
Education and Background Typical requirement: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) and at least 4+ years of relevant experience. Each year of work experience may substitute one year of education.
Required Skills
Expert‑level videography and photo editing with same‑day turnaround.
Experience with direct‑to‑camera filming, remote interviews, and post‑production workflows.
Ability to design and produce custom video content across multiple platforms.
Strong scriptwriting, storytelling, and visual storytelling abilities.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (508) and captioning.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
Knowledge of foreign policy and current events background.
Preferred Skills
Advanced storytelling in a variety of contexts and platforms.
Experience with animations, graphics, and integrating content from multiple sources.
Capacity to produce end‑to‑end multimedia assets for corporate and diplomatic contexts.
Creativity in producing shareable social media content.
Working Conditions Standard office environment with cubicles and fluorescent lighting; standard equipment including work laptop provided.
