Job Summary
The Inpatient Director of Pharmacy position is responsible for implementing departmental policies relevant to the operation of Inpatient Pharmacy Departments, for assisting in planning and implementing new concepts in drug distribution and control in accordance with established hospital policy and accepted standards of proper pharmacy practice.

Education
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Preferred
Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
Experience:
Required
Five years of experience in a comparable setting
Certification/Licensure:
Required
Texas Registered Pharmacist License in good standing
Preferred
Board Certification Pharmacotherapy Specialists (BCPS)
