Social Media Content Creator – Hybrid, Towson, MD or Valley City, OH. In office 3 days a week. The Job As a Social Media Content Creator, part of the Tools & Outdoor team, you will develop and produce engaging video and written content for Stanley Black & Decker’s brands. Develop and produce videos—ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and writing post copy. Stay on top of culture, industry and competitor content to resonate with the end user. Maintain the brand’s visual and voice identity across all content. Collaborate with the team to support planned content briefs and real‑time proactive opportunities. Collaborate with Brand, Creative, and Product teams to strategically develop social‑first content. Partner with teams on influencer briefs, feedback and social‑first event concepts. The Person 5+ years creating social content for a brand (portfolio required). Experience capturing and creating content using an iPhone and/or digital camera. Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar). Deep understanding of social‑first formats, hooks, and platform algorithms. Excellent time management—able to move quickly without sacrificing quality. Proven writing skills (captions, scripts, concepts). Comfortable digging into analytics to see what’s working. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs for graphic design. Familiarity with paid and organic social creative best practices.
