
SMB Account Executive, Search & Staffing - Talent Solutions

Job Description
We are looking for a Small Market Business Account Executive to join our team in tapping into potential client opportunities and generating new business within the Recruitment/Staffing sector. You are a trusted adviser with a relentless focus on bringing value to our customers and will help them effectively engage with our solutions (Talent and Learning). You will respond to inbound inquiries, conduct outbound activities, and strategically approach target companies and teams.
The work location for this role is hybrid – you will work from home and from the LinkedIn office on select days as determined by business needs.
Responsibilities
Prospect relentlessly to build pipeline and build strong personal relationships with prospects.
Create reliable forecasts and be completely transparent with management about the pipeline status.
Close new business consistently at or above quota level.
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory, and distribute competitive information.
Invest in colleagues by providing coaching and advice when improvement opportunities arise.
Develop and circulate best‑practice guidelines that will be the foundation of the team.
Listen to market needs and share insights with product and marketing teams.
Proactively solve problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
Seek opportunities to lead and help the company achieve its larger objectives.
Qualifications
2+ years in a quota‑carrying sales role.
Experience with recruiting, recruitment media, and HR software.
Experience with SaaS opportunities and the Salesforce.com platform.
Experience selling IT or recruiting solutions.
Knowledge of software contract terms and the ability to create fair transactions.
Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills.
Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close high‑level business in an evangelist sales environment.
Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others.
Ability to manage many prospects simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors.

The pay range for this role is $106,000 to $152,000 OTE . Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentive plans.
