Position Summary A Corporate Marketing Intern will provide hands‑on support to the Corporate Marketing Department, assisting with the organization, auditing, and execution of internal marketing systems, documentation, and creative assets. The Corporate Marketing Intern will help ensure marketing materials, data, and processes are accurate, up to date, and accessible, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of Weidner’s marketing operations. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication and problem‑solving skills. This role offers real‑world experience in marketing administration, project coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration within a large, dynamic organization. A successful Corporate Marketing Intern is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In additiona, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.
Primary Responsibilities Support the Corporate Marketing team with ongoing audits, file organization, and internal reporting to ensure data accuracy and process consistency
Assist with maintaining project documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal dashboards
Help organize and manage shared drives, ensuring marketing assets, reports, and templates follow proper naming conventions and version control
Maintain consistency and accessibility of marketing materials, brand files, and campaign documentation
Assist in the organization and tracking of vendor contracts, advertising performance reports, and campaign records
Contribute to the collection, tagging, and management of creative and media assets, including photos, videos, and design files
Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and project summaries as needed to support team initiatives
Collaborate with marketing leaders to monitor project progress, update internal task boards, and follow up on outstanding items
Conduct periodic quality checks across marketing systems, reports, and shared documents to ensure accuracy
Support various administrative and coordination tasks as assigned to help improve workflow efficiency
Actively participate in team meetings, providing input and feedback on organization and process improvements
Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and adherence to Weidner’s Mission, Vision, and Values in all aspects of work
Actively participate in a positive team environment through teamwork, communication and excellence in service; communicate regularly with the Marketing Events Manager
Actively demonstrates the values of the Weidner Customer Service Vision to team members, associates and external customers
Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4‑year accredited program with concentrations in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or similar program majors
Strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proactive, dependable, and able to handle multiple priorities effectively
Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new tools and systems
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
Experienced in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Monday.com or similar tools
Follow Weidner’s Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws
Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed
Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently
Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code / uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times
Working knowledge of English; detail oriented, well organized
Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
A valid, unexpired driver’s license and vehicle insurance is preferred and must correspond to the country in which the associate will work
