About the Role Petite Plume is seeking a creative, organized, and results‑driven Social Media Manager to lead and grow our presence across all social platforms. This role will oversee strategy, content creation, and daily management of our social channels, ensuring that every post reflects the heritage, nostalgia and timeless quality of the Petite Plume brand. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building an engaged community, driving brand awareness, and translating key marketing moments into compelling social storytelling.
Responsibilities Platform Management Manage Petite Plume’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube
Own day‑to‑day posting, scheduling, and publishing across platforms
Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement to build a strong brand community
Content Creation Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, aligning posts with product launches, seasonal moments, and broader marketing initiatives
Define and execute core content pillars to guide storytelling and ensure a balanced mix of brand heritage, product features, lifestyle inspiration, community/UGC, and key campaign messaging across all platforms
Plan and produce engaging content including short‑form video, imagery, and graphics
Capture and edit social‑first video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic across all channels
Coordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand storytelling moments on social
Attend in‑person events and photoshoots to capture behind‑the‑scenes content
Strategy & Growth Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on audience growth and engagement, continuously fine‑tuning to adapt to the ever‑changing algorithm
Identify trends, formats, and cultural moments relevant to the brand
Test new content approaches and optimize performance based on analytics
Work closely with Paid Social Agency to implement learnings, where relevant, to Organic
Influencer & UGC Collaboration Work closely with the Influencer Marketing Manager to amplify partnerships on social platforms
Source, curate, and repost user‑generated content
Build relationships with creators and brand advocates, when relevant, in partnership with the Influencer Marketing Manager
Analytics & Reporting Track key performance metrics across platforms including engagement, reach, growth, and conversion
Provide weekly and monthly social performance recaps and insights to leadership
Use analytics to refine content strategy and inform future campaigns
Qualifications 5+ years managing social media for a brand, fashion/lifestyle company, or agency (fashion‑experience preferred)
Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube
Strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency
Experience shooting and editing short‑form video content
Strong writing and copyediting skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Tools & Technical Skills Experience with Nectar or social management platforms
Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, Runway, Opus Clip, or similar creator‑focused tools
Experience using photo and video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma
Comfortable analyzing social performance and platform analytics

Salary: $70,000 – $75,000
