You'll Rock This Job If You: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of five years of experience in customer service, inside sales, order entry, inventory control, or related fields At least six months of supervisory experience preferred Experience in alterations or dry cleaning industry preferred Strong computer skills and proficiency with order management systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Flexibility to work overtime as needed Responsibilities Process customer orders received via phone, walk-ins, sales representatives, and electronic systems Accurately enter and verify all orders in the system, ensuring proper documentation and credit approval prior to release Coordinate with the credit department to ensure orders are approved before fulfillment Oversee order preparation, including picking, packing, and readiness for delivery Generate delivery manifests and maintain daily delivery route sheets Schedule and route local delivery trucks based on order volume and customer delivery commitments Handle counter sales, returns, credits, and prepare cash sales tickets Monitor and manage order queues, including trouble and backorder queues Ensure COD orders are processed correctly and verified with the credit department prior to warehouse release Maintain inside warehouse inventory records and communicate restocking needs to purchasing Coordinate with purchasing to track vendor orders and ensure proper documentation and system updates Support sales representatives in meeting daily order cutoff times Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations Communicate professionally with customers and vendors to address inquiries and provide updates Assist with additional duties as assigned to support business needs Perks That Hit Different: Good Weekly Pay Health Benefits (Medical, Dental Life + Vision) Optional 401(k) Plan Employee Discounts At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
