Secretary to Directors - 12 Month - Office Clerk II SI
Location: District Office Start Date: April 27, 2026 Salary: Hourly wage will be determined at the time of employment and based on the current AEOP current contract. We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: MUST be on current Monroe County Civil Service Clerk II Eligibility List OR Currently hold the Monroe County Civil Service Title of Office Clerk II OR Meet the Civil Service qualifications for the position. The Ideal Candidate will have the following attributes: Contributes to climate of collaboration and teamwork; demonstrates initiative; dependability, and a willingness to add to and support a compassionate culture. Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and organizations in an effective and diplomatic manner, both orally and in writing. Highly developed organizational skills while working under pressure of simultaneous deadlines and frequent interruptions. Ability to prioritize and anticipate tasks in order to respond to meet deadlines. Exemplary proofreading skills and accurate mathematical calculations. Ability to apply discretion to maintain confidential information. Understands, applies, and adheres to District policies and procedures. Seeks to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal-setting. Demonstrated competence in use of current office technology and software (Google Platform, Excel, Word, etc.) and equipment (computer systems, software, fax, copiers, etc.). Ability and willingness to learn new office technologies as they are implemented.
