Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to support their Planning department in a manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring orders are entered, tracked, and processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate brings strong data management skills, thrives in a team-oriented setting, and has experience working within a manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

Enter new customer orders into the ERP system

Verify order details against purchase orders for accuracy

Maintain organized electronic records of all orders and updates

Coordinate with the Master Production Scheduler (MPS) on order processing and timelines

Communicate order updates and requirements with Project Managers

Update ERP system with changes to purchase orders and scheduling adjustments

Assist with weekly open order reports and status tracking

Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with ERP systems and high-volume data entry

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
