
Intervention Specialist

About the Role
Burke is seeking a Mental Health Intervention Specialist to coordinate mental health care and intervention services for individuals under supervision of the Nacogdoches County Probation Department. This role works closely with probation officers to provide intensive mental health services that support individuals in improving functioning and successfully integrating into the community.
What You'll Do
Coordinate mental health services for individuals on probation
Conduct screenings, assessments, and provide treatment interventions
Collaborate with probation officers and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in team meetings to determine appropriate services and resources
Maintain caseload database and complete monthly reporting
Support individuals in developing skills for stability and community success
Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field
Valid Texas Driver's License
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with criminal justice and clinical teams
What Helps You Stand Out
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy
Experience in behavioral health, education, or human services settings
Experience working in juvenile or criminal justice environments
Licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)

Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Occasional after-hours work may be required
