WHAT YOU WILL DO The Financial Marketing Consultant works closely with the Sales department to develop and maintain long‑lasting customer relationships. This role leverages proven communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to deliver effective financial quoting and sales support solutions that maximize the return on business and sales transactions. In addition to sales support, this position plays a key role in financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, internal controls, planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and business objectives. This position may be based out of LaVergne, Nashville (Briley Parkway), or Memphis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish goals and metrics for the department staff to ensure effective processing and placement of customer finance packages.
Evaluate credit risks and coordinate lending packages to appropriate financial institutions for the sales force. Responsibilities include but are not limited to credit assessments, credit documentation, financing quotes, applicable system inputs, marketing programs implementation, and financial institution documentation.
Recommend and implement finance program strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
Mentor sales representatives and support personnel to ensure targeted goals and objectives are met.
Provide financial consulting to customers and sales force to optimize profitability.
Track funding at financial institutions for Thompson Machinery machine sales

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional Finance Experience, including Supervision and Direct Lending Experience.
Visionary with the ability to influence and execute strategic direction.
Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization. Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Familiarity with Office 365.
Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
Ability to present ideas in a user‑friendly language.
Highly self‑motivated and directed.
Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
Experience working in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
