Commercial Senior Analyst, Transformation New York City Commercial

FanDuel is looking for a Transformation Senior Analyst to help shape and deliver long-term customer strategy and innovation across key lifecycle moments and product experiences. You will play a key role on the Generosity Transformation team, driving high-impact initiatives that evolve how we understand, engage, and grow our customer base.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, insights, and execution—working closely with teams across Commercial, Product, Data Science, Promotions, Lifecycle, Go‑To‑Market, Analytics, and MarTech. You’ll contribute to some of FanDuel’s most important customer initiatives, helping to define how data and insights translate into impactful customer experiences and sustainable growth.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the company to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior stakeholders to define and evolve our customer strategy across lifecycle, engagement, and promotional experiences.

Drive the development of large-scale, customer-facing initiatives (e.g., Sportsbook loyalty program) to drive long-term retention and value.

Use behavioral insights and segmentation to inform strategic decisions and shape how we engage different customer cohorts.

Analyze and validate opportunities to optimize how we deliver personalized promotions to customers.

Generate actionable insights that inform product strategy and roadmap priorities, with a focus on promotional and generosity experiences.

Influence product strategy and roadmap by developing frameworks that define how promotional and generosity experiences are innovated, prioritized, and delivered.

Translate complex data and analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.

Lead and support cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment across commercial, product, and marketing teams.

Identify opportunities to improve personalization and customer journeys at scale through data, experimentation, and new capabilities.

Partner with analytics, data science, and product teams to evolve tooling, infrastructure, and data capabilities that enable better decision‑making.

Establish scalable processes for testing, learning, and iterating on customer strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

3+ years of experience in a strategy, analytics, or commercial role; previous marketing experience highly preferred.

Strong analytical skills and proven ability to develop and deploy structured project work.

Professional expertise with SQL and Excel required; data visualization a plus.

Ability to use Tableau, Python, or R preferred, but not required.

Demonstrated experience in cross‑functional teams, with strong project management skills.

Sharp and strategic thinker, able to challenge ideas and thoughts.

Experience working with marketing campaigns and teams in applying strategy to customer‑facing propositions.

Positive attitude and enjoyment of collaboration.

Strong organizational skills and effective project management.

Avid sports and gaming fan, ideally with use of FanDuel or competitive products.

Willingness to work nontraditional hours as needed due to seasonal sporting calendars.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $106,000 – $133,000 USD, dependent on relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
