
Senior Property Manager OR Property Management Trainer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Property Manager to join our growing team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing multifamily professional to step into a leadership role supporting multiple apartment communities throughout our portfolio.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, solving operational challenges, improving occupancy, and helping ensure strong operational and compliance standards are met.
Responsibilities
Train and support on-site Property Managers and Leasing staff
Assist with oversight of multiple apartment communities
Step in and provide temporary coverage when site staff are out or positions are vacant
Monitor occupancy, leasing traffic, renewals, and delinquency
Ensure LIHTC compliance standards are followed
Conduct site audits and assist with operational improvements
Help implement company policies and best practices
Work closely with ownership and leadership on property performance
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of Property Management experience required
LIHTC / Affordable Housing experience strongly preferred
Regional or multi-site experience is a plus
Strong leadership and training abilities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Organized, self‑motivated, and results driven
AppFolio property management software experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
