Opportunity
The Bahnsen Group (TBG) is seeking an Associate Director to join its Planning Department and specialize in high-net-worth planning. This full-time, in-office role is open to any TBG office, with a preference for Newport Beach, CA. This is a dynamic, client-facing opportunity to shape sophisticated financial strategies with a focus on estate planning. Collaborating closely with Private Wealth Advisors, the Associate Director will craft bespoke planning solutions and help deliver a seamless, best-in-class experience for TBG's largest households. The Associate Director will report to the Planning Department Director. Responsibilities
Prepare financial planning and estate planning deliverables and lead financial planning meetings. Lead planning coverage for an assigned roster of client households. Engage clients in the estate planning process while coordinating with estate attorneys. Coordination with TBG's Tax Department and Risk Department to facilitate the execution of financial advice and services. Master e-Money and Vanilla planning software. Maintain and cultivate relationships with external parties to enhance the delivery of concierge services. Work collaboratively with the Planning Director and their vision for serving the top clients of The Bahnsen Group. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferred in finance, tax, accounting, or economics). 5+ years of work experience with a wealth advisor firm. CFP® designation strongly preferred (JD, CEP®, AEP®, CPWA®, ChFC® acceptable). A strong understanding of financial planning concepts – tax, estate, retirement, charitable, cash flow planning, etc. Superior estate planning knowledge. Accurate, organized, and highly detail-oriented. Effective communicator who is highly responsive and can provide thoughtful advice to clients. Consideration
