
Part-Time Continuity Director

Beasley Media Group – Detroit is seeking a detail-oriented Continuity Director to manage daily broadcast traffic and continuity operations for our Detroit radio stations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of the station's traffic workflow from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Traffic/Continuity:Build and maintain daily broadcast logs, schedule commercial inventory, and ensure accurate placement of spots across all dayparts.
Log Reconciliation:Reconcile daily logs after broadcast, resolve discrepancies, and submit accurate records in a timely manner.
Sales Coordination:Work closely with the sales team to manage make-goods, pre-emptions, and last-minute changes while protecting station revenue.
Compliance:Maintain FCC public file documentation and ensure all broadcast content adheres to regulatory requirements.
Systems Management:Operate and maintain broadcast traffic software and coordinate with corporate digital and technical teams on system issues or updates.
Qualifications
Experience:2+ years in broadcast traffic/continuity, preferably in radio.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in broadcast traffic software. Experience with Marketron and/or VCreative is preferred. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Attention to Detail:High accuracy in reconciliation, and scheduling.
Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with sales, programming, and management.
Availability:Must be available to meet daily log deadlines and respond to urgent scheduling changes as needed.
