JR102560**Work Shift:**Responsible for the oversight and direction of plant operations and facilities maintenance programs for all Houston Healthcare facilities. Responsible for oversight of design and construction of capital improvements and major expansion projects, and major facility repair projects. Coordinates with contractors and other trade professionals when onsite. Assists System Director of Engineering in all capacities and designated primary point of contact in the absence of System Director of Engineering. Responsible for all engineering based contract management for Houston Healthcare. Assists in all regulatory agency audits to ensure compliance across all Houston Healthcare facilities. Assists in system oversight for security management and service agreement.
II. Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
Diploma or certification in industrial maintenance.
B. Experience:
Five (5) years’ experience in maintaining various mechanical components/systems in an industrial facilities environment.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Valid Georgia driver’s license. Acceptable MVR history to meet and maintain insurance requirements must be met to drive HHC vehicles. CPT training within 9 months of hire.
D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have ability to utilize equipment that may be used in the daily operations of the engineering department.
