Position Overview
SeoulSpice is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Field Marketing & Catering Sales Specialist to support local marketing initiatives while driving catering revenue across the Washington, DC market. This role blends grassroots marketing execution with direct sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, building connections, and generating measurable business impact. The ideal candidate is highly organized, outgoing, and motivated by both community engagement and sales growth. You’ll play a key role in increasing brand awareness, building partnerships, and expanding our catering footprint.
Key Responsibilities Field Marketing & Community Engagement
Execute local marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and in-store traffic
Support on-the-ground activations including events, pop-ups, samplings, and street team efforts
Support marketing and sales building training with store operations
Build relationships with local businesses, offices, universities, fitness studios, and community groups
Assist in managing store-level marketing calendars and promotions
Identify and coordinate local partnership opportunities to increase brand visibility
Catering Sales & Business Development
Drive catering sales by prospecting and building relationships with local offices, organizations, and event planners
Manage inbound catering inquiries and convert leads into orders
Conduct outreach via in-person visits, email, and phone calls to generate new catering business
Coordinate catering logistics with operations teams to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction
Track catering sales performance and maintain lead lists
Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term client relationships
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, hospitality, or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build relationships
Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable with both in-person outreach and digital communication
Willingness to be in restaurants and in the field multiple days per week
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in restaurant, catering, or hospitality sales
Familiarity with the Washington, DC market and local business landscape
Experience with grassroots or field marketing efforts
Basic knowledge of social media and local marketing tactics
