Hourly Range: $26.00 - $29.00
YOUR ROLE
Are you known for exceptional operational support in the supply chain environment? Are you passionate about data reporting and analysis and transportation operations? Join our Healthcare Division to manage the storage, handling, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders, maintaining inventory in a WMS, coordinating with clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with FDA and HIPAA standards. This role is essential to keeping the healthcare supply chain efficient, accurate, and safe.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical supplies and equipment.
Inventory & Order Management: Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and oversee order fulfillment from picking and staging to dispatch.
Logistics & Scheduling: Plan, track, and optimize inbound and outbound shipments to meet operational and client requirements.
System & Data Management: Utilize WMS and other systems to monitor operations, generate reports, and identify process improvements.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (FDA/HIPAA), safety standards, and internal SOPs.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and increase supply chain efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical, procurement, and operations teams to support strategic initiatives and problem-solving.
Medical Equipment Oversight: Track, maintain, and coordinate rentals or maintenance for medical equipment as needed.
Knowledgeable in export compliance and international regulations.
Negotiating rates with shippers and providing customer quotations.
Other duties: Support special projects and operational priorities as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Education and Experience:
High School graduate or GED.
Five years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment.
Skills:
Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web‑based and job‑specific software applications.
Utilizes databases and systems to review and verify documentation and information.
Strong knowledge of Cargowise system.
Ability to prepare basic reports, queries, and operational information.
Ability to track and trace basic shipments or products.
Characteristics:
Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments.
Ability to communicate potential concerns or delays.
Operates in a fast‑paced and changing environment and in both a team and individual contributor environment.
Capable of communicating with co‑workers to provide and receive direction.
