How You’ll Contribute
Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Staff/Senior Business Valuation professional to join our team. This role works closely with our business valuation team and supports complex valuation engagements involving privately held businesses, intangible assets, and equity‑related instruments for financial reporting, tax, transaction, and litigation purposes.
Independently perform valuation analyses
Analyze financial statements and normalize earnings as part of the valuation process
Develop valuation models using income, market, and asset‑based approaches
Conduct industry, company, and economic research to support valuation conclusions
Prepare high‑quality valuation workpapers and draft report sections suitable for U.S. client delivery
Identify valuation issues, apply sound professional judgment, and elevate matters appropriately
Contribute to timely, accurate, and client‑ready deliverables across multiple engagements
What Skills You’ll Bring
Direct hands‑on experience performing business valuations
2+ years of relevant valuation experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA, CFA, or progress toward valuation‑related credentials preferred
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Advanced Excel proficiency, with the ability to work independently within established templates and models
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders
How You’ll Stand Out
Prior experience in public accounting firms
Exposure to valuations prepared for financial reporting, tax, or transaction purposes
Professional maturity, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail
Familiarity with U.S. business practices, client service expectations, and deliverable standards
