## Description**Workforce Compliance Director - Renewable Energy Projects**Gridworks is seeking a Workforce Compliance Director to lead and strengthen our compliance strategy across construction projects nationwide. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to evolving government requirements—including the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)—while embedding workforce compliance into every stage of project delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep construction industry experience and a passion for building compliant, highly skilled, and safety-focused craft workforces.**About the Company**

Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Primarily operating across the Southwest, we are expanding into other regions. With nearly 3 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects, we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.**Key Responsibilities:****Compliance****Regulatory Compliance**:* Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with IRA provisions related to Prevailing Wage and Apprentice percentage and ratios across multiple renewable energy projects.* Analyze complex IRA policies and legislation, interpreting their impact on EPC project planning and execution.* Work with estimating, finance, procurement, legal and project management teams, as well as external subcontractors and consultants, to build IRA compliant processes for the organization.* Communicate IRA-related policy updates to relevant project teams, ensuring consistent implementation across project sites.* Assist the organization with developing best practices for DOE, vendor and other compliance as needed.**Audit and Reporting:*** Conduct audits of EPC project sites and processes to ensure compliance, documenting adherence to required practices.* Prepare and submit regular internal and external reports on compliance performance to as required by IRA mandates and client requests.* Address external audit findings and implement corrective actions, working closely with project leads and site managers to achieve compliance.**Apprenticeship Training Program Oversight****Apprenticeship Program Development and Compliance:*** Manage and continue to develop Gridworks’ Registered Apprenticeship Programs in line with IRA and Department of Labor standards.* Manage and continue to develop RTI training content and delivery, working with NCCER and other resources as needed.* Serve as a resource for apprentices and mentors, providing guidance on project standards, career pathways, and industry best practices.* Coordinate with project teams, foremen, and craft supervisors to establish instructor programs for apprentices, ensuring skill development and compliance with training standards.**Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:*** Liaise with government agencies, unions, and state apprenticeship offices to ensure that our programs meet regulatory standards and receive required approvals.* Prepare and submit periodic reports to government agencies on apprenticeship compliance, trainee progress, and completion metrics.* Track key performance indicators for apprenticeship program outcomes, continuously improving training offerings to align with EPC Renewables industry needs and standards.**Continuous Improvement:*** Monitor changes in IRA legislation and workforce standards, proactively adapting compliance and training strategies.* Implement best practices for streamlined compliance processes and effective program administration.## Qualifications**Qualifications and Requirements:*** Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, and/or apprenticeship program management within the EPC industry, preferably with renewable energy or industrial construction.* In-depth understanding of the Inflation Reduction Act, federal regulatory guidelines, and apprenticeship standards specific to the construction and energy sectors.* Proven experience in apprenticeship program design, workforce development, or compliance management within an EPC environment.* Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills, with proficiency in compliance software and data management tools.**Equal Opportunity Employer**
