
Produce Manager

Main responsibilities
Lead and supervise the produce department team, including training, scheduling, and daily oversight.
Deliver a high level of customer service by assisting customers, resolving concerns professionally, and promoting fresh produce offerings.
Manage department financial performance, including forecasting weekly sales, managing inventory, and meeting budget goals.
Execute weekly marketing, merchandising, and promotional plans to create visually appealing produce displays.
Ensure product quality and freshness by inspecting inventory, rotating stock, maintaining code dates, and removing unsellable items.
Receive and organize produce deliveries and ensure product is safely transported and properly staged.
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, weights and measures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and promotional materials throughout the department.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment on both the sales floor and back‑room areas.

Regular and predictable attendance
Compliance with uniform, grooming, and workplace conduct standards
Ability to work in a temperature‑controlled store with occasional exposure to varying temperatures
Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
