Compensation

Base pay between $70,000 - $87,000/yr.

We take into consideration the minimum requirements outlined in the job description, such as, training and experience, the position’s work location, required travel (if any), and external market conditions when determining the final salary for potential new hires.

Job Duties The Manager of Social Media is responsible for owning and executing the company’s social media strategy across all relevant platforms to drive brand growth, audience engagement, and measurable business outcomes, including social commerce performance. This role oversees social content planning, production, publishing, community engagement, and performance optimization across both short form and long form content formats.

The Manager of Social Media leads day‑to‑day social operations and collaborates closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure social initiatives align with broader business and revenue objectives. This role balances creative storytelling, commerce enablement, and data driven optimization, while mentoring content creators and ensuring consistent brand voice and platform best practices.

Social Media Strategy & Platform Ownership

Develop and manage the brand's holistic social media strategy, aligned with marketing, ecommerce, and brand objectives.

Own platform‑specific strategies for key social channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, emerging platforms).

Define annual and quarterly social priorities, including content pillars, channel roles, audience growth targets, and commerce objectives.

Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social and content trends to inform strategy and experimentation.

Manages 2 agency partners for content creation and paid amplification, owning the decision rights over agency output and managing the budget.

Social Commerce

Lead and support social commerce initiatives, including:

Shoppable posts and native commerce tools

Product launches and promotional moments

Creator led and lifestyle product storytelling

Social Commerce Platform integrations (IE, Meta, TikTok, etc.)

Optimize content to drive lower funnel actions such as clicks, conversions, and assisted revenue.

Align organic social efforts with paid amplification and influencer strategies, where applicable.

Community & Brand Voice Management

Oversee community engagement across platforms, including responses to comments, messages, and reviews.

Ensure timely, on‑brand, and customer‑centric responses to inquiries and feedback.

Identify opportunities to engage with brand advocates, creators, and partners.

Monitor social sentiment and elevate risks or brand reputation concerns when necessary.

Content Development

Lead the planning, creation, and execution of high‑impact short‑form content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Stories).

Oversee long‑form content initiatives (e.g., YouTube videos, episodic social series, educational or branded storytelling).

Partner with creative and production teams to execute both planned and agile, trend‑responsive content.

Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, visual guidelines, accessibility standards, and best practices.

Maintain a social content calendar that balances promotional, community‑driven, educational and entertainment content.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred

4-6 years of experience in social media management or content creation.

This role requires: 10% of travel

Understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.

Familiarity with content marketing strategies and best practices.

Use data to refine content strategy, posting cadence, creative direction, and platform focus.

Awareness of current trends in digital marketing and social media.

Knowledge and ability to track and analyze social performance using platform analytics and third‑party tools.
