Statesville, NC | $60,000 – $65,000 Base | Full-Time

The Role TJL has been a Statesville institution since 1999. We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager who wants to plant roots with a team that treats each other like family and takes pride in delivering the best work in the industry.

What You’ll Do

Manage a portfolio of commercial and residential maintenance accounts as the primary client contact

Conduct 4–6 property visits per day and complete monthly site audits for every client

Lead assigned crews - coach foremen, review quality in the field, run weekly safety meetings

Identify and propose landscape enhancement opportunities to grow your book of business

Respond to client inquiries within 1 business hour and follow up with written summaries

Manage crew routing, scheduling, and labor efficiency against budgeted hours

Use Aspire to manage work orders, issue tickets, timecards, and site documentation

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000

Total Compensation Potential: $75,000 – $97,500+ through commissions and performance bonuses

Our Account Managers earn commission on enhancement sales and referrals, plus a quarterly performance bonus tied to the KPIs that matter most - client retention, margin, sales production, and labor efficiency. Hit your targets and your total comp climbs significantly above your base.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of landscape industry management experience required

Proven track record managing client accounts and driving retention

Experience leading field crews of 2–4 people, managing 4–6 teams

Strong communication and follow-through - you respond fast and close the loop

Comfortable with field management software (Aspire experience a plus)

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required

Must pass background check and drug screen

Degree in Horticulture, Business, or Construction Management a plus

Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) or equivalent a plus
