Job Summary The Managing Director of Technology is a senior leader responsible for overseeing the execution and successful delivery of large‑scale, complex technology initiatives within a commercial real estate servicing platform. This position is accountable for converting business strategies and requirements into robust, well‑governed technology programs that drive scalability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and data transparency across commercial real estate portfolios.

Responsibilities

Direct end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale technology initiatives supporting all facets of commercial real estate servicing, including loan onboarding, servicing operations, data platforms, reporting, integrations, and client/investor portals.

Develop and enforce governance frameworks, delivery standards, financial controls, and executive reporting in compliance with financial services regulations.

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to data integrity, reporting accuracy, operational continuity, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with senior business leaders to understand CRE servicing workflows, loan structures, investor requirements, and portfolio dynamics.

Translate business strategies into actionable technology roadmaps that balance speed, control, and long‑term scalability.

Communicate delivery status, trade‑offs, and business impacts clearly to executive leadership.

Ensure technology programs meet auditability, internal control, and standards specific to CRE financial services.

Support initiatives aligned with SOC, data governance, and information security standards.

Drive accurate, timely, and reliable servicing and investor reporting through robust data and integration practices.

Lead, mentor, and develop senior program leaders, delivery managers, and matrixed technology and business teams.

Serve as a trusted execution partner to both business and technology executives.

Manage system integrators, product vendors, and consulting partners.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field

12+ years of experience in technology delivery, program management, or senior technology leadership roles.

Demonstrated track record of delivering large‑scale technology programs within commercial real estate, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.

Strong business acumen with the ability to rapidly understand and adapt to CRE servicing business models and operational workflows.

Skilled in managing executive stakeholders and communicating effectively at the C‑suite level.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive‑level materials.

Proven ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams within complex, matrixed organizations.

Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.

Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
