Position Overview tkMNA is seeking a
People Engagement Marketing & Communications Specialist
to support and elevate employee engagement, talent attraction, and internal communications across our tkMMS business. This role partners closely with the Human Resources and Marketing teams to tell our people story—internally and externally—while strengthening our culture, engagement, and employer brand. This role reports to our VP of Human Resources.
This position plays a critical role in positioning tkMNA and tkMMS as a
Career Factory : a place where employees build meaningful, long‑term careers connected to purpose, learning, and growth. The specialist will design and implement creative, strategic communications that connect employees to our mission, leaders to their teams, and candidates to our culture.
Key Accountabilities Employee Engagement & Internal Communications
Design, develop, and implement employee and internal communications using print, digital, video, and audio media
Communicate HR policy updates, process changes, benefits reminders, payroll communications, and training announcements
Develop quarterly all‑company HR communications and leadership announcements
Create monthly employee recognition and engagement bulletins
ewsletters
Manage bi‑weekly “Hot Jobs” communications and referral bonus campaigns
Support manager communications and reminders related to HR processes and initiatives
Develop internal “Did You Know?” content to educate employees about company products, industries served, and customers
Maintain and update HR organizational charts and onboarding materials
Talent & Employer Brand Marketing
Create internal and external marketing campaigns to attract talent, including job‑related content, videos, posters, and QR‑code materials for hourly employees
Develop compelling job posting content that clearly articulates who we are, our culture, and why careers thrive at tkMNA
Market internship programs, scholarships, learning opportunities, and career pathing initiatives
Position tkMNA as a learning organization through marketing of training programs, career development, and growth opportunities
Partner with leaders and employees to capture authentic stories that reflect culture, purpose, and career journeys
Storytelling, Culture & Purpose
Connect the company purpose statement to people, roles, and daily work
Tell the story of what we do and why we do it—for employees and candidates
Create “Day in the Life” employee videos and EE spotlight features
Highlight employee milestones and personal life events to reinforce a family‑oriented culture
Develop change communications that clearly explain the “why” behind organizational shifts
Support marketing of community service, company events, and employee involvement initiatives
Design, Content & Media Creation
Design and edit print, video, and audio materials ensuring professional quality output
Select and use appropriate photographic and video equipment to capture events, training sessions, and culture moments
Design HR guides and materials, including onboarding, manager tools, and employee resources
Develop content for new hire orientation presentations and communications
Design and maintain employee‑focused marketing materials and campaigns
Coordinate branded employee apparel and promotional items
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, HR, and business leaders to align messaging and branding
Collaborate with Sales and Operations to support customer visits that connect employees to the business and end‑users
Serve as a central point for collecting and curating employee stories and engagement ideas
Conduct employee surveys and engagement feedback initiatives to inform future communications
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
Knowledge of printing design, layout, and production processes, systems, and tools
Knowledge of photographic, video, and reproduction techniques and equipment (gained through education or on‑the‑job experience)
Strong computer skills and comfort working across digital tools and platforms

Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience supporting employee communications, HR marketing, or employer branding initiatives
Demonstrated ability to translate complex or sensitive information into clear, engaging messaging
Experience creating multimedia content (video, photography, written storytelling)
Strong organization, project management, and collaboration skills
