Position Overview
The Merchandiser supports the Store Leader by executing the merchandising and seasonal décor to create a beautiful environment for guests. You will provide exceptional service through relationship building and maintain an inspirational, well‑maintained environment.
Job Responsibilities
People: Foster a guest-focused team environment, drive volume, anticipate guest needs, model service standards, provide feedback, recognize performance, hold associates accountable, manage conflict, coach using company processes, empower teamwork, give feedback, develop associates individually, recognize contributions, lead through change, recommend hiring and promotions.
Process: React to product and presentation needs, maintain seasonal window décor weekly, control workflow through planning and delegation, assess business with reporting tools, identify merchant opportunities, execute task directives, conduct weekly mannequin updates, teach product flow and knowledge, adhere to loss‑prevention practices, communicate with executive team, coach the team on visual presentation, lead forward‑thinking guest experience, drive sales via inspirational environment, lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Presentation: Utilize weekly reporting to track, analyze and communicate results, interpret visual communication from the Home Office, partner with the Store Leader to roll out floor sets and fixture placement, maintain brand aesthetic, manage new product placement, provide product performance feedback to the Store Leader.
Qualifications
1 year merchandising experience.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, or squatting; occasionally climb ladders or stairs; lift and carry 30 pounds without assistance.
