Akkodis is seeking a Consultant for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA (Remote). This role requires strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python/Bash) to build and manage CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure‑as‑code, and embed security and compliance into release workflows.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Consultant Job Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance secure, repeatable CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
Implement and manage infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Integrate security, compliance, and policy controls into build, test, and release workflows (DevSecOps).
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems and deployments using observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Splunk, ELK).
Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to improve reliability, performance, and operational resilience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
6–8+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or infrastructure automation roles.
Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages (Python/Bash) in production CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code environments.
Proven expertise supporting secure, scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure with solid knowledge of CI/CD tools, Linux systems, and security/compliance best practices.
Pay Details Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
