Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent welcomes and registers guests, presents statements, and collects payments for departing guests. They also coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests, ensuring a seamless overall guest experience. The Front Desk Agent reports to the Front Office Manager.

Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities
Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms.
Provide a summary of the hotel and its amenities to guests.
Coordinate daily needs and special requirements for all hotel guests with other departments.
Recommend restaurants and activities based on guests’ ability, skill level, and interests.
Maintain the cash bank and settle it daily.
Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations.
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished.
Comply with all hotel and Aspen One policies.
Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management.
Complete tasks and projects delegated by the manager and assist other departments as needed.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or high‑school equivalent preferred.
One year of customer or guest experience preferred.
Previous front‑desk experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic knowledge of local mountain, town activities and events.
Basic industry terminology.
Knowledge of 5‑star standards.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
Active listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to act professionally in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively in team settings, contributing positively to group dynamics.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods; kneeling and bending may be required.
Regular indoor work with no adverse conditions.
Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance.
