INTERIOR DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER
One of the largest privately owned Auto Dealership Groups in the country seeks an INTERIOR DESIGNER / PROJECT MANAGER. The role involves coordinating furniture, finishes, graphics, and interior signage for both new construction and renovations, and managing these elements through the construction process while understanding coordination with mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The candidate will review construction documents to ensure corporate and brand standards are met, process vendor quotes for approval, handle order processing and billing, and coordinate with outside consultants—including architects, general contractors, manufacturer representatives, and owner vendors. Our design team is growing significantly due to project demand and offers a great opportunity for career advancement.

Critical Skills / Experience
Accomplished in AutoCAD
Specification of commercial finishes and furniture
Automotive or retail design experience
Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to handle conflicting and changing information in a fast‑paced collaborative team environment
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and outside service providers
Independent decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously
Ability to think strategically and execute
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Good judgment
Effective prioritization skills
Detail‑oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of Bluebeam is a plus
Professional appearance and work ethic
Willingness to travel as needed (travel amounts will fluctuate depending on projects)
Minimum Training and Experience 2+ years of experience in all areas of responsibility listed above.
Working knowledge of planning, design, construction and construction management.
