Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Proposals is seeking a growth‑minded Senior Proposal Writer to join the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team under the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization. The role focuses on developing and delivering innovative proposals for AWS prospects and customers, including responses to RFx (Request for Information, Request for Proposal) and unsolicited proposals.
Responsibilities
Lead proposal responses to RFx opportunities, working cross‑functionally across stakeholders.
Write, assemble, and polish RFx content, ensuring final documents are complete and error‑free.
Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with compelling responses.
Define writing projects, prioritize tasks, and develop standard content such as RFxAIDs, white papers, 6‑pagers, and other deliverables.
Synthesize research and newly developed content into compelling responses.
Identify key audience segments, conduct analysis to uncover content gaps, and enhance content effectiveness.
Validate RFP response requirements, ensure proposal compliance, and serve as the primary interface for RFx response efforts.
Support development of the content library and seller enablement.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating to technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
5+ years of experience in proposal writing, content strategy, and development.
5+ years of creating content in response to emerging requirements while leveraging approved content and approaches.
Experience in technology‑related sales, cloud, and/or business development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish high‑quality content.
Master’s or advanced degree in English, Communications, Content Strategy, or a related field.
Experience with proposal content management systems.
Exceptional editorial background with outstanding proofreading and content creation skills.
Experience driving complex, large‑scale content projects end to end independently and collaboratively.
Experience developing or editing multimedia (images, videos).
