Customer Service Representative - Barnesville

Overview Customer Service Representative (CSR) – 100% in office. Works scheduled hours at a designated WesBanco location (Barnesville Banking Center).

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service.

Accept and accurately process all financial service transactions.

Maintain cash drawer and perform proper balancing and cash handling procedures.

Operate within security and audit procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information and customer business.

Answer incoming telephone calls and perform additional duties to support the banking center.

Meet established referral goals and identify referral opportunities.

Determine appropriate line of business for sales opportunities and complex customer service issues; follow up to ensure customer needs were met.

Complete outbound customer calls to support sales and service needs.

Develop and maintain working knowledge of the bank’s products and services.

Essential Functions

Operational and security proficiency.

Skills & Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and skilled in using other banking software programs.

Strong product knowledge and ability to sell and promote bank products.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Sound mathematical and analytical skills preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi‑task and remain flexible.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Must be available to work all hours of operations.

High school diploma or GED required.

Complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing conduct in the banking industry.
