Senior B2B Strategy Manager (m/f/d)
AlphaPet Ventures GmbH, New Bremen, OH, United States
Overview
We're looking for a
Senior B2B Strategy Manager
to become the
strategic counterpart to the Head of Global B2B Strategy . This is not a support role — it's a high-impact, high-ownership position for someone who can carry complex strategic initiatives independently, drive them across regions, and elevate the way we think, report, and integrate.
You will directly support both the
Head of Global B2B Strategy
and the
CSO/Managing Director B2B
in navigating one of the most exciting phases in AlphaPet's B2B history.
Responsibilities
Drive complex, cross-regional B2B projects with high P&L impact (e.g., €500K-1M+ revenue scope) from strategic scoping to executive-level execution and take full project ownership from scoping to execution — independently and with accountability across single or multiple B2B markets
Act as the commercial lead for integrating newly acquired companies, designing the roadmaps and holding cross-regional teams accountable to milestones and work closely with global leadership and regional teams to ensure smooth, strategy-aligned PMIs
Own the overarching B2B business intelligence framework (Looker, Nielsen) and define the global KPIs and data governance for the executive board and drive the reporting agenda forward — not just maintaining it, but actively innovating it
Act as the AI champion for global B2B Sales by identifying, evaluating, and integrating next-generation commercial intelligence tools
Run the regional-to-global OKR cadence and steering committees, holding regional Sales Directors accountable to global targets
Co-design the 3-year global B2B strategy alongside the Head of B2B Strategy and CSO, defining go-to-market architectures for multi-market expansions and strategic brand integrations
Lead commercial due diligence and dictate go-to-market architecture for new market entries and strategic brand integrations
Profile / Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years
in a
top-tier management consultancy
OR equivalent experience in a
Corporate Development / Strategy function
within an FMCG company or a FMCG start up / scale up company
Demonstrated track record of managing
complex, multi-stakeholder projects
with measurable commercial outcomes and proven track record of directly
advising C-Level executives
and independently managing high-stakes cross-functional workstreams
Analytical & strategic
— you go deep into data and zoom out to the big picture; you're equally comfortable with a dashboard and a board-level recommendation
Structured & autonomous
— you bring process discipline, reporting rigor, and milestone ownership; you take a topic and run with it without needing constant direction
Versatile & adaptable
— you thrive across strategy, reporting, PMI, and AI; in an acquisition-driven business, you re-orient fast without losing momentum
AI-curious & hands-on
— you actively explore and implement new tools; you help build the AI roadmap, not wait for one and you read people well, adapt across cultures, and understand that stakeholder management is a strategic skill
Business-fluent
German and English
skills; French is a plus, as well as a willingness to travel within Europe 1–2 times per quarter
Benefits
Responsible, exciting, and varied tasks with plenty of creative freedom in a dynamic company that values flat hierarchies and an open, informal work culture where everyone is on a first-name basis
A friendly, open team of around 340 employees located in Munich, Leipzig, and Albourne (UK) — plus several lovely office dogs at our sites
Flexible working hours based on trust, home-office options including financial support for your equipment, and the possibility to work abroad for several months
28 days of paid vacation, plus up to 20 additional unpaid leave days and special leave options
Various internal and external training opportunities you can choose according to your interests
Attractive employee discounts — for both humans and pets!
Regular team, company, and family & friends events
