Job Summary
The Trade Marketing Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-impact visual assets that drive dealer engagement, product sell‑through, and brand consistency across all B2B trade channels. This role sits at the intersection of sales and marketing, translating trade strategies into compelling, conversion‑oriented creative for dealers, distributors, and events.
This position partners closely with the Trade Marketing Manager, Brand Director, Creative Director, and Director of Dealer Sales to deliver assets that support promotions, product launches, dealer programs, and in‑market execution.
Primary Duties
Design and produce dealer‑facing marketing assets including:
POP displays, signage, and in‑store merchandising materials
Dealer flyers, promo sheets, and sales enablement tools
Co‑op advertising templates and partner‑ready creative
Adapt brand creative into channel‑specific executions optimized for dealer environments
Create sales tools that help reps and dealers sell more effectively:
Product one‑pagers and comparison sheets
Promo guides and seasonal campaign assets
Dealer graphics and downloadable assets
Ensure assets are practical, easy to deploy, and aligned to real‑world dealer use
Campaign & Promotion Support
Promotional calendars (Q1–Q4 campaigns, Big 5 events, etc.)
Product launches and sell‑in initiatives
Dealer incentive programs and spiffs
Events & Experiential Design
Design visual assets for:
Trade shows and dealer events
Event‑specific promotional materials and handouts
Brand Consistency & Adaptation
Maintain brand standards across all trade marketing materials while adapting for channel needs
Collaborate with Creative Director to ensure alignment with overall continuity
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Trade Marketing Manager for priorities and execution timelines
Brand Director & Creative Director for visual direction
Dealer Sales Team to understand field needs and feedback
Incorporate real‑world dealer and rep feedback into creative improvements
Asset Management & Production
Organize and maintain trade marketing asset library for dealer access
Prepare files for print, digital distribution, and large‑format production
Manage versioning across channels, promotions, and dealer types
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in:
Trade marketing
Retail, dealership, or aftermarket environments
Experience supporting sales teams or B2B channels strongly preferred
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Ability to design for both print and digital formats
Understanding of merchandising principles and in‑store visual impact
Ability to translate business objectives into effective visual communication
Strong attention to detail with ability to execute quickly under deadlines
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate. This role is also eligible for a bonus.
