Freelance Graphic Artist – Puma & Hurley Brand Team United Legwear & Apparel Co. is seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Freelance Graphic Artist to join the Puma & Hurley brand team. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong background in print design for women’s, men’s, and children’s activewear apparel. The Graphic Artist will work on a project‑based basis, collaborating closely with the design team to develop compelling, brand‑aligned artwork for a variety of apparel categories. This position will be responsible for creating original all‑over prints in repeat, sublimations and graphics for all genders and size ranges in the active market.

Essential Functions

Create innovative and market‑relevant print designs for men’s and children’s apparel.

Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure all graphics align with brand aesthetics and project requirements.

Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools—Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign—to produce high‑quality, print‑ready designs.

Adapt designs to fit various product categories and ensure consistency across styles.

Meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Participate in virtual or in‑person check‑ins to discuss project scope, revisions, and final delivery.

Qualifications / Requirements

Proven experience in apparel print design across men’s and children’s categories.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).

Must have proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint.

Strong understanding of print techniques, color theory, and fabric applications.

Ability to work independently on a project basis with minimal supervision.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.

Previous experience working with activewear or lifestyle brands is a plus.

Additional Information

This is a freelance position with project‑based assignments.

Must be able to be on‑site at the NYC office 2‑3 days a week.

Candidates must be able to provide a portfolio showcasing relevant print design work.
