Join our growing team and help us shape dream kitchens from concept to reality!Position Overview:We are looking for a talented and creative Kitchen Cabinet and Countertop Designer, one who is driven, can work independently and is well versed in top brands of cabinetry and countertops. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen design, a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of materials, and a passion for helping clients bring their vision to life. As a designer, you will work closely with clients, contractors, the installation team(s) as well as the owners to ensure that each project is completed to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities:Pursue new business opportunities in conjunction with owners and lead generation team, manage CRM/contacts, follow up on leadsMeet with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences for kitchen cabinetry and countertops.Generate referral sources and build contacts within the home services industryCreate detailed design concepts using design software (2020/Design Live) and present them to clients for discussions and approvalEnsure designs meet local building codes and industry standardsProvide accurate cost estimates for cabinetry and countertop materials, as well as installation costsSelect materials, finishes, and hardware based on client preferences and project requirementsCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and the installation team to ensure designs are executed accuratelyOffer design solutions for any challenges that arise during the design and installation processMaintain strong relationships with clients throughout the design and installation phasesProvide a 5-Star client experience in design and sales through client education, accurate measurement/design, and follow-throughStay up to date on the latest trends in kitchen design, cabinetry, and countertopsQualifications:10+ years proven experience as a kitchen designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects\*If less than 5 years experience, need not apply.Expertise in design software (2020) and cabinet design including European designs\*Experience with 2020 is a MUSTMust have experience going to clients’ homesRemodeling experience preferred.Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, countertop materials (e.g. granite, quartz, marble), and installation techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsBeing updated on market trendsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred· Impeccable customer service leading to a five-star customer review is a must!What We Offer:Salary, commission and bonusBenefits packagePaid time off as well as all major holidaysA collaborative and creative work environmentFlexible/hybrid scheduleOpportunities for career growth and development including management if desiredWork with a team of fun and passionate professionalsDiscounts on products and servicesHow to Apply:If you are a skilled designer with a passion for kitchen design and love bringing clients' ideas to life, we would love to hear from you!
