Job Summary
Our pharmacy micro‑fulfillment centers are the pharmacies of the future! Pharmacy micro‑fulfillment is a network of facilities that dispenses and ships a variety of prescriptions to Walgreens retail stores. We use innovative robotic technology in a central pharmacy environment to reach thousands of patients with life‑saving medications each day. The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for processing and shipping orders to the customer from the Centralized Services Pharmacy Fulfillment Center. This role will remain open until filled.
Job Responsibilities
Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship prescriptions to the customer.
Track all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure inventory accountability.
Verify orders and ensure entry into the inventory management system.
Operate a clean and safe work environment, maintaining all areas of the Fulfillment Center well ordered and free of debris.
Maintain quality standards set by management.
Basic Qualifications
Willing to obtain and maintain registration in good standing with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, if required by state law.
Must be fluent in reading and speaking English.
Willing to work a flexible shift.
Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to perform tasks that include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a retail, centralized services, or fulfillment center environment.
At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.
Salary Range $15 - $20 per hour
