Job Description
The Digital Logistics Specialist will play a key role in designing, supporting, and continuously improving warehouse and logistics technology used in our distribution operations. This role focuses on Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems (WMS & TMS) and logistics process automation, working closely with operations, IT, and technology partners to translate business needs into scalable, digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Transportation Management System (TMS) supporting distribution center operations.
Partner with warehouse and logistics operations to design, configure, and enhance WMS/TMS functionality to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
Support day‑to‑day WMS operations including issue triage, root cause analysis, and coordination with vendors or internal IT.
Participate in WMS upgrades, new releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with IT and digital teams to design and implement automation using system configuration, integrations, workflows, and event‑based processing.
Support integration between WMS, TMS, ERP (e.g., SAP), and related systems to enable end‑to‑end digital logistics flows.
Act as a bridge between warehouse operations, IT, and third‑party vendors, ensuring solutions align with operational needs.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting or implementing warehouse or logistics systems in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control).
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Blue Yonder WMS and/or Blue Yonder TMS.
Experience with logistics or supply chain system integrations (e.g., WMS–ERP, WMS–TMS).
Exposure to SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) integration with logistics systems.
Experience supporting systems in a regulated, high‑availability, or high‑volume distribution environment.
