Job Purpose The Content Creator for FKA Brands is responsible for delivering a consistent social media voice, and on‑brand content/copywriting, to grow brand awareness, foster perception, drive engagement and create a sense of community. They coordinate social content schedules and push it out to across our social platforms and monitor, respond to, and track comments and messages on social media channels. They leverage engagement and growth strategies to help build our follower base across platforms. They stay abreast of current trends and seek out emerging platforms that can help to expand our opportunities. Responsibilities include producing digital video and photo content to use for all digital platforms to engage our audience.

Portfolio submission will be required should candidate proceed to next steps.

Essential Functions

Create content‑video and photo – for social media outlets such as Meta (Facebook), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc. from conception to final deliverables.

Set up various shoots in the studio and on location from pre‑production to post‑production.

Provide deliverables in a very short timeline that are ready to use for socials, web, or print.

Understands trends and will keep Homedics in the forefront of the industry.

Work collaboratively with other designers to create photo and video content.

Position Requirements

Strong digital photo and video skills.

Self‑starter, resourceful and able to make things happen.

Understand proper lighting and composition.

Advanced skills in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier, MAC OS, etc.

Project Management skills with the ability to manage several projects at once.

Ability to organize equipment and deliverables.

Communicate well within a team and on set.

Strong ability to communicate ideas via written and verbal communication.

Strong creative drive.

Ability to research trends and industry influences.

Must be extremely creative and out‑of‑the‑box thinker with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and thoroughly.

High attention to detail and self‑motivation skills, can act independently.

Must be super tapped into social trends and aesthetics.

Experience

2+ years of social media experience.

2+ years working as a UGC creator.

2+ years of digital content creation working with vendors and business partners.

Work Environment This job operates in a hybrid/remote environment. The individual will be required to live at least 1 hour from the Michigan office.

Physical Demands

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.

The employee might be required to sit and use computer for extended periods of time.
