Assn Director of Belonging and Engagement

The Association Director of Belonging & Engagement activates YMCA of Greater Richmond's belonging and engagement strategy by expanding employee resource groups (ERGs), driving staff engagement initiatives, managing signature events, and growing a culture of achievement, relationships and belonging. This person will collaborate across departments, especially Brand Advancement, Impact & Advocacy, and Human Resources, to ensure inclusive, measurable, and mission-aligned outcomes. Success in this position will rely heavily on leadership through influence. 3+ years of experience in culture work, program management, or community engagement Strong project leadership, communication, and facilitation skills Passion for building inclusive environments and working across diverse groups Experience leading ERGs or cross‑functional initiatives
