
Portfolio Banker- Asset Based Lending- Vice President

As an ABL Portfolio Banker within our Capital and Advisory Solutions team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, managing work emanating from the existing portfolio, developing and monitoring credit analytics, and participating in special project work. You will work within complex deal teams to manage relationships, drive revenue and commitments on existing clients and work through problem credits.
Job Responsibilities
Drive new commitments and fees while building enduring relationships with existing clients and internal stakeholders on performing credits
Support ABL National Restructuring Manager and ABL Risk Officers in management, restructuring and work‑outs on troubled credits
Execution of loan amendments, restatements and extensions for clients in the portfolio
Develop dashboard of historical and forward looking portfolio analytics to reflect regional and national credit trends
Conduct financial statement analysis and modelling, value collateral via field examination and appraisals, and monitor covenant compliance
Understand and execute asset based lending loan documentation in consultation with internal and external counsel
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Five plus years of experience in asset-based lending
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and risk partners
Strong credit and client relationship skills
Proactive, problem solver with ability to partner with internal stakeholders
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Participate or lead special projects
Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
