
Marketing Technology Product Manager

This contract role is located in Pleasanton, CA with onsite hybrid expectations.
Job Summary This is a high-visibility, high-impact position at the intersection of marketing technology strategy and go-to-market delivery. Operating as the execution engine for critical initiatives, this role translates strategic vision into documented technical requirements and measurable outcomes. The position coordinates across multiple teams including Automation, UI/UX, IT, and revenue operations to manage the day-to-day project lifecycle for transformational programs. Serving as the connective tissue between strategy and delivery, this role ensures consistent, structured execution across key workstreams while identifying cross-initiative dependencies and partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements. This is an operationally sharp role that converts strategic momentum into stakeholder-ready outputs, maintaining delivery velocity across complex, multi-organizational programs.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of new GTM initiatives, from requirements gathering through delivery and stakeholder readout
Coordinate and orchestrate cross-functional teams including Automation, UI/UX, and revenue operations
Identify and document dependencies between programs, proactively surfacing risks and blockers to senior stakeholders
Partner with Marketing Technology leadership to gather requirements and translate them into structured project plans, technical specs, and status documents
Serve as the primary Execution Lead for SFDC Marketing Technology deliverables, ensuring strategic initiatives are broken down into actionable, time-bound workstreams
Execute alongside other MarTech PMs to maintain consistent delivery velocity across programs
Own the facilitation of recurring workstream meetings, including agenda creation, pre-read distribution, and real-time note capture
Drive meetings to clear outcomes with decisions made, owners assigned, and next steps documented
Maintain stakeholder alignment by distributing timely meeting summaries and follow-up materials
Manage a centralized tracker for all action items, deliverables, and milestones
Proactively follow up with cross-functional owners to ensure on-time completion and flag at-risk items early
Publish regular project status reports that are stakeholder-ready and audit-quality
Skills
Ability to translate ambiguous strategic direction into structured technical requirements and project plans
Strong documentation skills with ability to produce stakeholder-ready status reports, requirements documents, and operational runbooks independently
Experience managing dependencies across concurrent initiatives and communicating risk proactively to senior stakeholders
Familiarity with the broader MarTech ecosystem, including automation platforms, CRM integrations, and inbound lead management workflows
Proficiency with project and task tracking tools such as Jira, Workfront, Asana, or equivalent
Exceptional facilitation skills with ability to lead productive meetings, drive to decisions, and maintain momentum with senior and cross-functional audiences
Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns, surface dependencies, and recommend prioritization trade-offs
High operational velocity with comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously without sacrificing quality or stakeholder communication
Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with senior leadership on strategic direction
Experience with demand generation or pipeline operations
Familiarity with core MarTech platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce
Experience
6+ years in a Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Marketing Operations role within a complex, cross-functional environment
Proven track record of managing cross-functional programs involving multiple teams such as engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market
