About the Role
The Marketing Manager owns demand generation and marketing execution across all NYPKC locations, with a clear focus on driving inquiries, tours, and enrollment growth.
This role sits at the center of the business — bringing our brand to life through campaigns, content, and local marketing while ensuring efforts translate into real pipeline and results. You will manage day-to-day execution and continuously improve how marketing gets done, increasing speed, output, and performance through strong systems, agency management, and AI-enabled tools.
You will partner closely with Enrollment, Operations, and school leadership to align marketing efforts with capacity and revenue goals. This role requires a strong bias for action, a test-and-learn mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
How This Role Fits Into the Organization
The Marketing Manager reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for driving demand generation and brand execution across NYPKC.
This role partners closely with the Enrollment Manager, who owns pipeline management, follow-up, and conversion performance.
In addition, this role works cross-functionally with Heads of School, Operations, and external partners to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with enrollment goals and school-level needs.
What You’ll Do
Brand Execution & Consistency
Bring NYPKC’s brand to life across all channels — digital, physical, and in-school
Ensure consistency in voice, visuals, and messaging across all parent touchpoints
Partner with creative consultants to maintain brand integrity
Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
Execute campaigns that drive inquiries and tours across preschool, camp, and infant/toddler programs
Support paid media partners (Meta, Google) with clear briefs and performance direction
Optimize campaigns based on cost-per-lead and cost-per-tour metrics
Use AI tools to rapidly test multiple ad variations (copy, creative, audience targeting)
Leverage AI insights to optimize cost-per-lead and cost-per-tour in near real-time
Content & Organic Growth
Build and manage an always-on content engine across social, email, and storytelling
Position NYPKC as a trusted resource for NYC parents with children ages 0–3
Develop content that reflects real classroom experiences and builds parent connection
Build an AI-supported content engine to scale high-quality, consistent output
Use AI to repurpose content across channels (e.g., classroom moments ? email, social, blog)
Maintain human oversight to ensure authenticity and brand voice
Local Marketing & Community Engagement
Develop and execute localized marketing strategies across NYC neighborhoods
Support Heads of School with event promotion, partnerships, and local outreach
Ensure each school has a strong and consistent presence within its community
Enrollment Funnel Partnership
Partner closely with Enrollment Manager to ensure marketing is generating high-quality leads
Align on messaging, lead quality, and the parent journey from inquiry to tour
Support optimization of HubSpot campaigns and lead flow
Agency & Vendor Management
Manage freelancers and agency partners across content, social, photo/video, and performance marketing
Ensure all partners are aligned to brand standards and campaign priorities
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track and report on key marketing metrics, including:
Inquiries
cost per lead
cost per tour
Provide clear insights into what’s working and where to adjust
Support weekly and monthly visibility into marketing performance for leadership
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
4–7 years of marketing experience in a consumer, service-based, or multi-location business
Strong execution experience across digital marketing, content, and campaigns
Experience working with agencies or external partners
Familiarity with marketing analytics and performance tracking
Strong understanding of NYC market dynamics (or ability to ramp quickly)
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
