Jr. Visual Merchandiser is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining visual merchandising standards across retail and wholesale channels, ensuring alignment with HQ directives and brand guidelines. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and creative individual to ensure consistent brand presentation, support seasonal product refreshes, and contribute to engaging customer experiences. The specialist will also collaborate with HQ and sales teams to bring brand strategies to life through impactful store and gallery setups. Preferred Location: High Point, NC

Product Placement & Inventory Coordination:

Collaborate with store and warehouse teams to coordinate product flow for new displays.

Monitor inventory levels on the floor to ensure displays remain complete and balanced.

Brand Standards & Guidelines:

Interpret and execute HQ’s visual directives while adapting to the unique characteristics of each location.

Provide clear instructions and training to store teams on maintaining visual standards, including store communication and product display.

Visual Activities On-site and remote:

Create and maintain floorplans for stores, showrooms, and gallery partners to support product strategy, traffic flow, and visual storytelling.

Support showroom setups for markets (ex. High Point) and lead product refreshes across stores and galleries to ensure a cohesive brand experience.

Analysis & Reporting:

Monitor the effectiveness of visual displays through sales trends and customer feedback.

Provide feedback to the merchandising and product teams on customer interaction with displays.

Skills & Qualifications

BA or BS degree

1-3 years’ experience in merchandising or visual merchandising experience in retail or wholesale, preferably within home furnishings or lifestyle brands or comparable education/internship experience.

Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically strong in PowerPoint and Excel.

Strong understanding of spatial planning, color theory, and composition.

The ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambitious, and ever-changing environment.

Analytical thinker.

Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects across locations and capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Strong collaboration and communication skills with store teams, sales, and HQ merchandising.

Ability to lift, move, and assemble furniture and display materials as needed.
