Proposal Writer Or Senior Proposal Writer

As a Proposal Writer or Senior Proposal Writer (experience dependent) you will work with the US proposal writing team in supporting the business development and retention activities associated with our US Asset Management business. In this role you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of investments while working with our Sales and Consultant Relations teams to respond to RFP/RFIs in closing new business relationships for the firm.
What will you do?
Serve as a project manager for assigned questionnaires and proposals, completing to a high-quality standard within guidelines and by deadline
Work to deadlines to gather information from multiple sources across the firm and collaborate with subject matter experts and sales representatives
Adjust standard proposal verbiage to address a specific question or appeal to a particular audience. Draft new content as needed and edit verbiage provided by subject matter experts or sales representatives for clarity, narrative consistency, and writing mechanics
Ensure firm brand standards, applicable regulations/laws, and grammar conventions are met
Identify and become responsible within the RFP team for an area of content, owning the team's working relationships with related subject matter experts and capability specialists
Participate in quality control process for the team as a senior proposal content editor and proofreader
Assist the team in maintaining the content library within RocketDocs
Proactively support teammates and partners as a subject matter expert as needed
Support process improvement projects and other responsibilities as assigned
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proposal Writer: Experience writing detailed business proposals or procedures and managing projected based work
Senior Proposal Writer: 3+ years of experience of proposal writing experience within an investment or wealth management firm
Exceptional English language skills in editing, writing, and both written and verbal communications
Strong project management and stakeholder management
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Financial services industry experience
Pursuit of a CFA designation
Fixed income and/or alternative asset proposal writing experience

The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000, (Minneapolis), $60,500-$104,500, (Boston), depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
