Adriana's "Growing Together" is seeking a grant writer. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, drafting, and submitting compelling grant proposals to secure funding from corporations, and government agencies. This role plays a key part in supporting the organization's mission by generating sustainable revenue through strategic grant funding.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and passionate about advancing community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify prospective grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and supporting documents
Develop persuasive narratives that clearly articulate programs, impact, and funding needs
Collaborate with leadership and program teams to gather data, budgets, and impact metrics
Maintain a grant calendar to track deadlines, reporting requirements, and submissions
Prepare grant reports and ensure compliance with funder requirements
Track grant outcomes and maintain accurate records in CRM or database systems
Build and maintain relationships with foundation and corporate partners
Assist in developing fundraising strategies and annual development plans
Pay Rate: Starting $25-$30 per hour
